The human verification popup is a social engineering trick designed to trick users into clicking “Allow” to confirm that they are not a robot. While many websites require verification captchas to prove you are not a bot, this redirect is fake and spams malicious ads right to your desktop after allowing push notifications. It can be seen when you accidentally click on dubious ads or links that redirect you to other pages. Also, if you keep seeing this message when launching a browser, your computer is probably infected with adware. The presence of PUAs like adware can slow down your PC and spoil the overall experience. Additionally, adware-type programs are capable of collecting personal information such as passwords, browsing history, IP addresses, and other sensitive data that third parties can exploit.
