TLDR; MediaFire has released a new set of web and mobile apps! Other than some significant performance improvements, you may not have noticed it, because they look just like the old ones. Under the hood, though, this is a big update – these ‘MF2021’ apps represent a major improvement to our development environment and our ability to rapidly develop and release new features and updates.
It’s hard to believe that 15 years have passed since MediaFire released its original web application in 2006! Our small team has managed to extend and develop the service through several iterations on an ever-growing front-end codebase consisting primarily of PHP and Javascript (jQuery). As you can imagine, over 15 years of continuous development, our product and code base have become bloated, slow, and difficult to develop and maintain by modern standards.

When I was sharing game files from my blog, Mega was one of my favorite file hosting websites, it allows me to easily share my files and also add a direct download link for my visitors to click and download. It is very fast and it is very easy to set up and share files.
Short-term and long-term storage:
The free version of MediaFire includes short-term storage. That means you need to log in once a year to maintain your account. Also, your files will be deleted if they are not downloaded for a long time. Of course, this doesn’t come without warning: you’ll get an email if your files have problems.
If you want long-term storage, you should upgrade to the Pro plan.
