In the movie Jumanji, Alan Parrish is a boy who goes to see his father, a shoe magnate. Along the way, in a construction zone, he finds a board game that he takes home called Jumanji, or at least that’s what he puts in the box. Opening the game at home, he realizes that he can’t play it alone, so he calls his friend Sarah to join him, to start a game of the game he’s found. The game is very strange, because the tiles move by themselves and in the center there is a magnifying glass that gives them messages, but they continue playing until Alan ends up absorbed into the game, from which he will not be able to get out. Within the game nothing more and nothing less than 25 years pass, until Peter and Judy discover the game in the storage room of their house and start a new game, which will bring Alan back after more than two decades.
