Misfits is a punk rock band formed by Glenn Danzig in 1977 from Lodi, New Jersey. They are frequently cited as breeders of horror punk, mixing punk and other musical influences with themes and images from horror movies. In 1983, Gdansk, Misfits and Misfits with bass player Jerry Only dissolved, to form a new project, starting new activities. From 1984 to 1994, it lasted 10 years, the Misfits went into hiatus musically até voltarem a tiva in the following year. In 1995 Michale Graves recorded his vocals, he said in 2000 when he met drummer Dr. Chud. In 2001, Doyle left the group, thanks to Jerry assuming the vocals, looking for new composers and members without consulting, not interested in recording new material. In September 2016, for 33 years Gdansk, Only and Doyle will reunite for two shows with an original lineup of two Misfits at the Riot Fest edition, along with drummer Dave Lombardo and second guitarist Acey Slade. The original Misfits program continues to present a sporadic design until 2019.
