The question with Foo Fighters is always what surprise they will come out with, and after making things as cumbersome and forced as possible with eight studies, hundreds of magazines, miles of record kilometers, and a complete story to unravel in eight tracks like the that made up “Sonic Highways” (2014) the question was really “What now?”, and the answer was the simplest.
What comes now are more songs, and surprisingly obtained in the most harmonious way possible, in an improvised studio at the Saint Cecilia hotel in Austin, Texas, where the band led by Dave Grohl recorded the five songs that They compose “Saint Cecilia”, an EP that the band released for free, and in honor of the victims of the Paris tragedy.
