The groups from Pocos have sensational and contradictory productions in heavy metal and more black metal than Cradle of Filth. Perhaps about the greatest influence that most heavy metal groups have from Iron Maiden or Judas Priest bands, mixing it with Gothic and symphonic sounds, it has given an unaccepted commerciality to the more conservative Black Metal canons that prefer to direct sound, less elaborate when composing the songs and a cruder production. This has the band Sea mes accepted by the followers of other sectors (Gothics, heavys, thrashers) who welcomed them with open arms, coming at times to be considered by metal followers as the reference band within extreme Metal and Die Britain’s main band of metal Iron Maiden.

Cradle of Filth was founded in 1991 in Suffolk, England. After several demos they released in 1994 “The Principle of Evil made Flesh” is a great work that includes the best albums in the history of black metal, an album with a mediocre production that brought out the virtues of the group, fast metal and forceful with certain symphonic and gothic doses. In 1996 the E.P “Vempire of dark faerytales in Phallustein” was released in a hurry to end the contract with his record company Cacophonus, an album that began to have some negative reviews from his first followers, due to the fact that the symphonic parts begin to have much within the importance of the compositions. That same year he brought to light with his new company Music for Nations what for me and possibly for the majority of his followers is his masterpiece “Dusk and her hug”, an album where Dani Filth and company decide to further increase the grandiloquence of the songs, seasoning it with a more symphonic and dark touch, which together with a perfect and crystalline production makes the album sound like a true gothic and terrifying soundtrack, this allows the group to reach the highest positions on the European charts within the metal, achieving unthinkable sales for the type of music they play, reaching 100,000 copies sold within a few months of being released. They harden their sound for their next album “Cruelty and the beast” in 1998, based on the life of the famous Countess Bathory, increasing the success of the group exponentially, while they receive the most devastating criticism from the most extreme sectors, calling them sold. In 1999 an E.P called “From the cradle to the grave” was released, which achieved brutal success, this marks the most immediate future of the group towards more accessible parameters that will keep the group in an enviable state for many years. If all this isn’t enough to continue pissing off his early followers, the album we’re going to gut will be the one that will already wear out his patience. An album that over time has gained many followers and that gave them the final push to be marked as one of the great metal bands in history.
