Black Sabbath was formed as a British heavy metal band formed in 1968 in Birmingham with lead guitarist and songwriter Tony Iommi, bassist and lead songwriter Geezer Butler, vocalist Ozzy Osbourne, and drummer Bill Ward. From the beginning, a band went through several changes in the formation, with the guitarist Iommi being the only one present in all of them. It was originally from a blues rock band, the logo comes from the name Black Sabbath and delves into the hidden and horror history in their songs but also in their guitars. Although these two themes will be common, they also comprise songs that deal with social uncertainty, political corruption, the dangers of abuse and apocalyptic prophecies resulting from wars. The original formation ended in 1979 with the dismissal of Osbourne, due to his addiction to alcohol and use of other drugs. He was replaced by Ronnie James Dio, former Rainbow singer. After we record two albums with Dio, or Black Sabbath faced numerous member changes during the 80s and 90s, which include vocalists Ian Gillan, Glenn Hughes, Ray Gillen and Tony Martin, are various drummers and bassists. In 1992, Iommi and Butler teamed up with Dio and Drummer Vinny Appice for a seriously dehumanizing record. An original formation reunited in 1997, when they recorded the album live Reunion. Final album of the Black Sabbath lineup, formed on June 13, 2013 and continued by Iommi, Butler and Osbourne. Between 2016 and 2017 they joined “The End Tour”, which officially marked the end of the group’s career. Or Black Sabbath is a regular town that is a pioneer of heavy metal. The group helped define the genre with releases such as Paranoid (1970), Master of Reality (1971) and Heaven and Hell (1980), having sold over 70 million copies during their career. They were defined by MTV as “the greatest heavy metal band of all time”, and they were ranked 2nd on the list of two “100 greatest artists of hard rock” on VH1 channel. Rolling Stone Magazine placed them at position 85 on their list of two “100 Greatest Artists of All Time”. A band inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005, among others into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006 and received two Grammy Awards in the Best Metal Performance category.
